The bank targets borrowers in a wide range of industries, in both the investment grade and non-investment grade ratings segments. The purpose of these loans can range from commercial paper backup, to financing general corporate purposes, as well as mergers and acquisitions. Also, on a direct basis, the department provides letter of credit programs that support product exports.
